COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (November 05, 2001) – Insurance Technologies, the premier provider of point-of-sale management software for the financial services industry, today announced that Allianz Asia Pacific / First Life Korea has selected ForeSight™ Enterprise for its point-of-sale management needs in the Asian insurance market.
Insurance Technologies will supply point-of-sale management software and expertise in a large scale project to automate and streamline insurance product sales involving Accenture, the world’s leading provider of management and technology consulting services, and Siebel Systems, the worlds leading supplier of e-Business application software.
ForeSight Enterprise will provide Allianz First Life Korea’s 15,000+ life planners the ability to perform needs analysis, product suitability assessments, and product illustrations across several business lines for Korean consumers. The system will be a comprehensive web-based integration of Siebel’s CRM and ForeSight’s insurance point-of-sale capabilities. “Through this international partnership involving one of the top insurers in the world and leading global suppliers such as Accenture and Siebel, we are rapidly establishing ourselves as the preferred international provider of financial service insurance point-of-sale management,” said Larry Wiedeman, Chairman and CEO, Insurance Technologies.
Insurance Technologies will now have versions of ForeSight in English, Portuguese, French, Mandarin, and Korean, operating across multiple countries where the application correctly interprets insurance and tax regulations for the respective jurisdiction.
“It will be exciting to see our wireless interfaces deployed here as the population density allows for better connectivity than in less occupied areas,” said Wiedeman. “Korean Life Planners will use PDA’s to interview prospective clients and ForeSight will suggest products and perform illustrations with Siebel managing follow-up interaction with the consumer.”
