Ameritas® selects Insurance Technologies’ FireLight® as its electronic application and business fulfillment solution for its life and disability income products, known to Ameritas financial professionals as eApply.
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO, March 19, 2013 – Insurance Technologies, LLC, a provider of sales and regulatory automation solutions for the insurance and financial services industries, announced today that Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. (Ameritas), a national insurance and financial services company, has selected FireLight® for its e-application business fulfillment solution to facilitate business transactions for its life and disability income insurance products. As part of the Ameritas Producer Workbench portal, FireLight is offered under the name eApply and provides agents with a platform to process online applications more quickly and efficiently.
FireLight eliminates the need to print applications prior to client meetings by providing Ameritas financial professionals a mobile electronic application process to quickly enter and submit application information online. With multiple built-in signature capture options, including tablet-based e-signature capabilities, agents can achieve new efficiencies and accelerate the process of closing business. FireLight increases the number of “in good order” application submissions and improves the turnaround time of issuance by guiding the agents to complete all necessary state requirements, fields and forms related to the product sale. By implementing FireLight, Ameritas provides its financial professionals a user-friendly and familiar e-application process, making doing business with Ameritas quick and easy.
