Insurance Technologies Expands FireLight® Sales Team by Appointing Steven Acosta as Vice President of Sales for FireLight Distribution.

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO, May 12, 2015 – Insurance Technologies, LLC, a provider of sales and regulatory automation solutions for the insurance and financial services industries, announced today the appointment of Steven Acosta as Vice President of Sales for FireLight®. Mr. Acosta will be responsible for expanding the sales and adoption strategies among distributors for FireLight, an e-application business fulfillment solution. Mr. Acosta will work hand in hand with other FireLight sales team members to provide an overall comprehensive sales experience for sponsor companies and distributors.

Mr. Acosta holds over 19 years of sales, account and project management and strategic business development experience from leading industry organizations including Oracle Corporation, Insurance Technologies and the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC).

Mr. Acosta recently held the position of Sales Director within the Financial Services Global Business Unit where he was responsible for the sale of Oracle’s Insurance Analytical Applications, which included data aggregation, analytics, risk, and compliance among the insurance distribution vertical. Prior to Insurance Technologies and Oracle, Mr. Acosta played an imperative role in establishing DTCC’s Insurance & Retirement Services Group. He strategically developed, managed and maintained several Broker Dealer, Bank, Clearing and Solution Provider firm accounts. Mr. Acosta led as customer advocate and internal representative to ensure DTCC products, service needs and business opportunities were met while cultivating new and existing business partnerships.
